BIO.

A young mystic able to tap into the powers of realms beyond the one she lived in, Mikaela Reid is a bright, friendly, cheerful, and slightly macabre woman who's perfectly happy to be called a witch. More than a little obsessed with horror stories and dark things, she kept those from overcoming her with natural positivity and having a strong group of friends, and sometimes just acquaintances, to help support her in dark times.

Gifted with powers some might call psychic and some might call magic, she can cast spells and blessings, or bring down curses - though she doesn't like them, and avoids them at all costs - and see the near future in cards, runes, and coffee grounds. In the darkness of the fog she brings light, life, and survival through things that are normally nothing but danger at best, and makes every effort to save the people she now knows as friends.

But a drive into darker things when you're inclined to drawing powers from another realm can get unwanted attention, and that was what got the Entity's attention and drew her into the fog. The darkness wants to close in on her. The only thing that would keep it at bay would be to stop using magic, but she's the witch: it's her duty to keep the boons lit, to keep the magic going, in order to save those around her. Eventually, the price will be too high for her to pay.
